A rant I did about the "Paradox of Tolerance" and how Reddit uses it

[The paradox of tolerance] is spammed by every Redditor that bootlicks censorship without question without really comprehending the point: If you want maximum tolerance, you specifically prune out what would un-tolerate (that is, actually jeopardize) the maximum number of different ideologies.

But Reddit reads it as 'prune out what we haven’t labeled “tolerant” based on its positivity towards our pet groups/identities".

meanwhile Reddit attacks the maximum number of different ideologies unless they compromise themselves by bending to Reddit’s ideology and diluting themselves with it.

Reddit doesn’t try to maximize tolerance, it tries to maximize the number of people forced into the very narrow ideology it nicknames ‘tolerance’.

Reddit’s ‘tolerance’, let’s call it ‘Redditism’, is one of numerous ideologies that are all equally intolerant of each other. It’s not compatible with any Abrahamic religion unless that religion compromises its morals. It’s not compatible with Buddhism unless Buddhism compromises its passivity by bending to Redditism’s demand for witchhunting of dissidents, or Redditism’s witchhunting is compromised. It’s not compatible with nationalism unless nationalism is bastardized into ‘oh boy I sure do like living here’ and nothing more. It’s not compatible with any philosophy that values any trait because then someone might in some way be worth more or more worthy than someone else, and to have such a hierarchical distinction is literally fascism according to Redditism. It’s not compatible with anything and not tolerant of anything that doesn’t obey its infantile rules.

In other words, according to the paradox of tolerance, Redditism, more than anything else, must be eliminated. Christians and Buddhists can exist alongside conflicting people without killing them. Christians might try to convert others, but we don’t, by and large, try to end others’ careers just for not being Christian. There’s a load of different sects of Islam that I don’t know all of, so I can’t really comment, but Judaists certainly don’t want gentiles to cease to be, nor are they bent on converting everyone. Nationalists will fight each other, but that’s their thing, and I don’t think they’d have it any other way. Basically, all of the things Reddit “doesn’t tolerate, in the name of tolerance” would coexist a hell of a lot better together if people like Redditors weren’t in the picture.

They are supposedly “really afraid” of racist violence but not other forms of violence. Apparently, it’s ok to hate someone and want to kill them as long as they come from a “bad” political faction.

Also Popper was right in the sense that free speech is untenable. If you let anyone say whatever they want, they will eventually say that democracy (and free speech) must be ended.

In practice, almost no one supports free speech. Free speech means opening a dialogue with terrorists and pedophiles. Do I want to platform terrorists and pedophiles? No. So I don’t support free speech either.

In the West speech is controlled indirectly, at the private and civilian level. And public schools (as well as universities) have the “final say” on what is true, and it’s really hard to counter those narratives when they have a stamp of authority. The control of free speech is actually far more effective in a “free” society because it uses gaslighting and behavioral economics rather than official censorship.

I’ve willingly talked with some degenerate people, people openly jerking off to fictional incest and saying things like “I must say, assholes are the most arousing hole. . . I wish humans had horse assholes”, and I think I can live with people saying things like that much more than I can with gay hegemons who will spew cancer down at you while censoring what you say, and at the same time I hate the purity spiraling you get from places like ConsumeProduct, where the Catholic Church of Anti-Semitism is the central pillar of all ideology and all ‘degeneracy’ is cast out like refuse, ‘degeneracy’ just being anything foreign to the almost infinitely-cramped culture of iron vice aperture anused Super Aryans and their white power which is over six million.

I think what you mean is that you want authenticity as a freak. You don’t like how they try to pretend like you’re normal

I dunno, while I always have been happier acting as the ‘resident comic relief degenerate autistic retard’ in harder right-wing groups than I have been in Reddit groups where they tighten constraints around my expression harder than their sphincter around dicks, it’s as much that I want authenticity from and about freaks. I don’t want freaks to pretend they aren’t, and I don’t want sheep passive-aggressively trying to ‘shoulder’ me out of acknowledging that they are. But yes, I enjoy being recognized, even negatively, for how I act rather than ‘free’ to be given utterly lukewarm treatment for all manner of degeneracy but screeched at for not being a NWO NPC.

But also in general, the broad stroke is that I don’t like when people are supposedly individualistic are actually hiveminded people who have been marketed the concept of ‘individuality’, but experience it only within very confined and routine manners that are in fact uniform, and aside from that have Stalin levels of cracking down on ideological dissidents.

At the same time, I don’t like looking for freedom from Stalin just to flip over into the other bin of ‘mellowed down Hitler’, where they don’t make any pretensions to individuality but forever despise anything that isn’t utterly bland, insipid and dull as ‘degeneracy’, while appreciating some token symbols of strength, perception, morals, willpower and vitality as ‘the beauty of the white race’.

As much as I bicker with Nada, he doesn’t seem like he wants to bleach out everything to make it ‘white’. People like those on the WCoL server are almost like the left wing of right wing, like if America were really the uber-hard-right place liberals make it out to be, then we, you and I and all the others, would be like the aesthetes, whereas the ConsumeProduct types are kind of like poetically-inspired hicks who will quote some fancy, long sayings, but generally think playing in the dirt is more valuable than art because dirt is physical and physical must mean real except when you’re soapboxing about muh ideals.

I guess what I’m saying is, I just want freedom, among peers who are free. I want individualism, but not fake and gay individualism. The kind where people can call me a zoophile and tell me to kill myself and not get put in the timeout corner. The type where we can be ourselves, and not be oppressed by the narrative that other people being themselves in a mean way is a violation of that. The kind of freedom where you’re actually free.
