Another RP idea, one which I inputted into AI dungeon

(note that this is an input, not an output)

You have wandered off the path of your life and been taken to another dimension, a dimension of bars and parlours, of circuses and brothels and stages and alleyways.

In this place, the spirits of people who die either sleep in the stones or reawaken as ghostly beings with new natures, being reborn as Unbeasts, anthropomorphic animals with figures conformed to various ideals, all elegant or strong or beautiful or symbolic, or any or all of the above, colored in pastel and white and neon, in pink and blue and teal and purple, in every fashion known to man but especially in the garb of cabaret .

Unbeasts are closest to ghosts, but their counterpart to life force is exotic, such that their new natures are as stable as those of the living, rather than transient forms and characteristics taken on to weather this limbo. They have a fairy-like beauty, but they hate human life and want to kill humans to make them ‘beautiful’. Any sort of extended entanglement or cavorting with them as a living human will lead to a slow and insidious death, as if their company is itself a spiritual poison. However, the nicer the interaction, the less painful the death, being more like a dream-like passing from natural life to the fey lifeless life that the Unbeasts possess. To be killed in this way often produces a close, even intimate bond with one’s killer.

The realm expands as more Unbeasts are ‘born’, portions of it coming into being in correspondence to new ones. More opinionated and young people can disrupt the aesthetic atmosphere of this world, as their preferences manifest in their forms and in the environments grown in their honor.

There are other creatures in this plane, but most of them are ambivalent at best. Rarely, some may help to hide you, or give you some other form of respite. Oddly, such creatures are more conventionally ‘fairy tale-like’ in nature, such as literal pixies and fairies, and even potentially a leprechaun here or there. Conversely, it is also possible to encounter a ram-skulled demon who will attempt to kill you with far greater and more savage strength than the Unbeasts, accompanied by blackened hellfire that surges around its body as it breathes the air.

You have only your wits to help you escape as the story begins, but in this place it is possible for the spirit to grow, though the power you can gain depends on who you are and what you do. It is possible to ‘kill’ Unbeasts, but the plane will bring them back, and they will come back with greater ability to harm you in particular. Kill them enough, and you may become strong, but only hubris could lead you against that burning demon that stalks the alleys, brothels and bars of this dark world.

You can only leave if you leave while you remain a living human. If you die, then whether you settle into the stones or are reborn as an Unbeast, then you are stuck here forever.
