@Zenitsu Clotaire Rapaille says that every culture has a code.
America - DREAM
France - IDEAL
Germany - ORDER
England - CONTROL
Belgium - COMPROMISE
Japan - PERFECTION
Russia - SURVIVE
What is your ‘code?’ I would say that mine is LOVE. I want to achieve great things so that people will love me, I’m fascinated by romance / eroticism / angst, I’m clingy with friends.
Makes me pop a blood vessel to see foreign people buy into the idea that the “American Dream” is an endemic culture to the USA.
Unfortunately, this idea was forced onto the USA to justify infinite immigration.
I think the USA’s code is ANGER, and my own code is basically the same. We have a tragic end, as a result.
I can see that. DREAM was probably the culture code at one point, but isn’t anymore.
That’s an interesting take. I might cite this in my manifesto.
Why do you think anger defines the culture? It’s obviously politically insane. And it would make sense that a failed “experiment” or “dream-based” society would transition to anger.
Multiculturalism & democracy → chaos & friend-enemy distinction
Also you should try Reintegrative Therapy for your anger.
Why anger defines:
People become angry for reasons out of our control, but the USA is almost unique in it’s acceptance - and even lionization - of anger. People feel completely comfortable being mean and angry, especially in political debate on TV, or in standup comedy.
I’ve been thinking a lot about this lately. Even the foreigners here are really angry.
I think it must come from the continuous frustrations of a multiracial society. Diversity indirectly disrupts our routines. You have so many different temperaments operating the same system.
