Conservative Values that turned out to be "right"

I just realized recently that Youtube censors profanity seriously, and demonetizes people who use it.

This led to a thought thread. That, the very smart people who run these companies have realized that profanity is bad.

Why is it bad? There are real-world-negative consequences of it…and nobody really talks about it. Conservatives demanded that people not use profanity in their divine-command deontological kind of way, and liberals rebelled as they always do.

I’m interested in other examples where the conservative value turned out to be wise, and the liberal rebellion turned out to be folly. I think the resolution to our social woes would be for people to see that both conservatives and liberals have a deep flaw in their moral algorithms. (At the moment, I think that the belief is that liberals are mostly right, with small mistakes.)

Profanity is antisocial because you can’t watch it as a family. Profane content is awkward and embarrassing to share. Thus, profanity contributes to atomization and the decline of families.

You really need to read Weston A. Price. He is a good introduction to this question.
