I’d tend to agree that leftists are traumatized, but I’d tend to disagree that they are traumatized only from political drama.
I think that white people are traumatized by the bad treatment we give to each other in day-to-day life.
I believe that the left struggles in the USA to make inroads because of two major things. Firstly is the fact that leftist reforms in the 20th century led to an explosion of the black birth rate. I’m not talking about a slight edge, I’m talking about like way higher than the Hispanic birth rate. Thus, for many people, the left was synonymous with white genocide.
The second issue is that the left tends to be as caustic towards their own white people as Trump. Think about the famous comedy shows of the 1990’s and 2000’s. They were quite caustic. If they act caustic like this, the other white people will suspect that they are ill-willed.
To some extent, there is always a race-culture angle in the USA that the left can’t win. The immigrant-nation mythos has been pushed for too long, and it’s a part of the left-liberal mentality. This just isn’t the case in Asia or even much of Europe (until VERY recently).
The Left was successful in Europe in the 1960’s because it was not anti-own-culture. It was somewhat self-affirming, still. The idea of Universal Health Care was not some kind of unpatriotic thing in Britain. Enoch Powell was the head of it! It’s hard to imagine such a nationalist being a “Healthcare for All” person in the USA, but it’s not weird at all logically; it’s just that the USA has a twisted history that made us turn out this way.
That’s just the brutal reality that easily explains everything.
I’m more interested in the leftist temperament and childhood. I suspect that they were relentlessly bullied and have extremely low self-esteem. They really do hate anything that is perceived as strong or successful, which is why they immediately dogpile on Japan for being “bad to women,” even though it is one of the safest countries for women on Earth.

That’s pretty close to what I believe. Although, I don’t think they necessarily hate successful people, and I don’t think they really hate Japan. A huge number of weeaboos are blue-hair chicks, basically all LGBT people are into anime, and almost any white woman who tries to move to Korea or Japan is going to be a big liberal.
There will be complaints about Asia from the left, and that is just because they complain about everything. They hate seemingly everybody for seemingly any wrongdoing.
Fundamentally, this is a trust issue. Yes, indeed, white people are low-trust. If you have trust in people, you can continue to view them positively even if they have a certain number of problems.
