"Mamdani loves furries," the reddit reaction, and what this demonstrates

So Mamdani hung out with some furries recently. He flashed his signature open-mouth camera smile, the one that would fool the world’s greatest body language expert into thinking that he is experiencing the height of ecstasy.

He is not experiencing the height of ecstasy. He is acting. He is a good actor, perhaps practicing the skill for his entire life, being the child of a successful Indian filmmaker.

Reddit’s response is to avoid the embarrassment. Mamdani is untouchable like Obama, but as of yet does not have that level of aggressive hype that liberal-America was forcing during the Obama years. Thank goodness. Being in college during that time was to be screamed at by liberal white girls on a regular basis.

Reddit responds by pointing out that many furries are IT workers and/or software engineers. So they are claiming that Mamdani is being a responsible mayor by schmoozing some economically-useful incels. At the same time, they are indulging in their favorite pasttime: attacking nerds.

Used to work for a startup and we had to share a room with a coworker to save money during a company onsite (early stage company, about 12 people). The one I roomed with was a very strange German engineer with bad body odor. One day he left his bag open when he left the room and, lo and behold, a full furry costume was in there.

This is actually a debacle for liberals. Because this really just shows how bankrupt liberalism is, as a way of life. It also shows that liberal icons are not really even liberal. They are lying, acting.

Of course he does not! Nobody does. They are too deranged to be possible to love. Sad for them, yes, we are. Love them? No…we just can’t.

To be a liberal is all just totally fake. And the liars and fakers defend their dishonorable way of life by attacking those who see through their lies.

The job, in this era, of the sage, is to drive society to see the ways in which this charade is actually harmful for society.

I don’t feel this is interesting enough to warrant a thread. There’s no breakthrough or new discovery here, it’s just reddit being reddit. Of course liberals lie, it’s all they do.

I think a big reason why I got into libertarianism and politically incorrect humor is because I got bullied relentlessly for being weird. Kids would treat you horribly, and then they would police your speech for saying something racist. The teachers too: they were always condescending to me, and yet they would try to make me feel bad for not being politically correct. That’s when I realized it was fake.

And not only was it fake, but they were also really intent on restricting my authenticity and self-expression. So I would purposely do racist humor to stick it to them.

I think this post is interesting, as beaten to death as the subject is. We should first pay attention to whether or not wokism is fake, and has ulterior motives. Beaten to death, but that’s where you start.

What I really want to know is whether they really care about minorities or not, because it really is unclear. It’s easy to just say “Of course it’s fake!” because it’s bad, and we want them to be the bad thing. But starting from reality is important when you’re actually trying to destroy them.

There is no such thing as “of course.” Everything requires good evidence.

Wokism in effect is white man’s burden. Whites have to pay for everything because everyone needs to be elevated to the same standard of living. Sexual minorities are just as a valid as heterosexuals, all races are equally capable of all things, and we can all live in harmony if we just work together, whatever that entails. It was woke which brought us the COVID lockdowns. They lied about the supposed deadliness of COVID, they lied about the effectiveness and safety of the vaccine and they can walk it all back with a simple “we didn’t know at the time.” Mamdani’s antics, as well as all other post-COVID wokism, feels like “zombie woke” to me. There is no doubt in my mind these people have ulterior motives.
