Right-Wing China Love, and the Problems of China that are Unknown to the World

The low-information right-wing, most perfectly exemplified by Andrew Anglin, loves China. China is officially considered the most based country. I have doubts that we have a clear view of China. I don’t know what it is like there. I know that it is hyper-patriotic, and that a lot of Chinese people leave the country for many other countries, including SE Asia, Europe, the Anglosphere, and sometimes even Africa. I watch lots of videos about it, to learn more.

I watched another Serpentza video on China. (Serpentza is one of the OG China youtubers. He spent many years showing nice things about China, and now that he has finally left, he is criticizing it.) This one is about crime and safety. It was, like so many of his videos, shocking.

He mentioned a few big issues in China, and he had a lot of personal experiences with them, in his 14 years that he lived there.

Here are the crime issues:

  • Theft. People stealing bags, purses, things from pockets. Very common. Lots of videos of this. people use these strange tweezers to reach deep into pockets. We’ve all heard of how China often does not provide toilet paper in public restrooms because people steal it - there’s definitely something going on with this. Serpentza had 3 experiences with this.
  • Kidnappings. This is apparently a major problem in China. Lots of videos of it, too. He caught a lady with a kidnapped kid. I have a personal experience. Once I talked to a Chinese lady coworker of mine, and I praised Chinese mothers for always holding their kids’ hands. It is, after all, a healthy thing. But she told me, they don’t hold the kids’ hands out of love or anything. They do it because there are many people in China who will literally snatch the kid away.
  • Bad drivers. This is apparently a serious issue. It’s probably not as bad as India, but according to Serpentza, it seems like the same problem: people don’t pay attention and don’t follow rules. Serpentza said that he saw, on many occasions in his travels, dead people on the side of the road because of these wrecks. It’s not just a joke - it’s actually a serious problem.
  • Stabbings. Unknown how common they are, but Serpentza saw one in public.

There are two other major issues, which are broader and slightly different than crime.

  • Government hushes up problems. It’s the way the system works there
  • Government provides far more protection to the rich people and rich areas. This is probably why the whites in China like it so much - they are probably digital nomads who make enough money to live in the nicest, most protected areas.
  • People not helping one another. This is known to foreign people in one sense: China has the lowest charitable donation rate of any country in the world. Chinese people literally don’t help other humans. They seemingly believe in accumulating wealth, and seemingly nothing else. But this problem is much worse than just charity. People also do not help others in public if they faint, or if a woman is being beaten by a man. Why? Because, very often, the person who was in trouble will actually sue you, blaming you for their problem. This is done opportunistically - they see that there is an ability to get some free money out of their whole situation. Serpentza himself intervened in a domestic violence case, and was a hair away from getting screwed by the police and the victim for it.
  • Preying on foreigners. All of the above dangers listed above are far more severe for foreign and rural people in China. The city-folk prey on trusting, not-so-street-smart rural people and definitely on white people.

Thought this would be of interest to some people. Keep your mind curious, guys. There are many sides to every story.

yes when the government is that corrupt and that all-powerful then the psyche of the population is corrupt all-powerless. In survival mode, there are no rules. With such oppressive governance the super-ego is either crippling (you live your life like a robot following all rules all the time) or you live your life constantly searching for the gaps in the system (i.e. stealing toilet paper from public toilets)

I had a Chinese girlfriend who told me about the constant theft there, and she even stole some things from an American store without thinking. And she told me about the constant danger of child-snatching and how she was almost stolen once as a kid. She explained the domestic violence thing is more cultural. Chinese authorities and citizens just don’t think it’s their business. Chinese also have tons of other bad habits and customs which made me not want to be around her friends.
I disagree with Mondray that these things are from the authoritarian government. Like most nonwhites it’s just bad character, probably from genetics, especially after the best Chinese were killed or driven out under communism.

But ultimately these aren’t reasons that the right should dislike China. I feel like you’re countering dishonest red herring with an honest one, creating a classic jewish false dichotomy like we constantly see on 4chan/pol/.
They might still be a key political ally. Our real “ignorance” regarding China is that they are ultimately zionist controlled opposition just like Russia. This sounds counter intuitive but the truth is in the details. Their economic-political system is simultaneously communist and hyper-capitalist, both jewish paradigms. Their analysis of politics is from a leftist standpoint; again, jewish and dishonest. Since alliances are political, you can’t really forge one with someone who lies about politics constantly.

are you saying that trans and gays comes from being white?

snooze on the ‘everything is the jews’ stuff. so boring. Undermines the class struggle totally.

snooze on the ‘everything is class struggle’ stuff. so boring. Undermines the racial struggle totally. By the way jews make class problems worse by nullifying racial loyalty with their ideologies, causing the classes to betray each other. So they create the problem of hypercapitalism with liberalism and Christianity then solve it with Communism, with mass deaths of the best people with each phase of the false dialectic. And before you call bullshit, who were 4/5 of the main promoters of libertarianism? Was Christ a jew? Was marx a jew? Who invented neoconservatism?

no that comes from jews. But we do know that Chinese behavior is endemic and not from totalitarianism because east Germans weren’t stealing each others children or turning their roads into exhibits of slowly dying human roadkill under Communism.

Please, everyone, let’s keep this discussion civil. I don’t want to tone police but it’s necessary to prevent the board from becoming a hugbox.

I understand that you dislike his comment but my job is to keep the board usable for everyone. Attack whoever you want, but just don’t insult members of the board.

Also, an unrestricted board will typically end up becoming a right wing hugbox, so this is really about keeping leftists / liberals from leaving.

I tend to think that China is not going to be any kind of friend to white people. They don’t seem to like us very much at all.

I’m interested in China - but it’s an entirely seperate civilisation from the West, and in fact, much of her development in the 20th century was antagonistic to Europeans and Americans (read Maoism by Julia Lovell)

lived there a long time
very safe, people don’t steal shit—it’s crazy how safe major cities are
