Literally the only reason people do not rise up and kill rich people for their things is because of the jeet idea of “muh karma”.
That idea was invented to keep the populace lazy.
Keep them slaving away for evil tyrants because they believe that eventually some invisible, all powerful, all seeing judge will smite the big, bad, stinky tyrant for all his evil deeds, and reward those who do good, aka just sat there and allowed the tyrant to do evil things with no push back.
Heaven and hell is literally just the non-jeet version of “muh karma”.
The peasants will not rebel against the tyrant because they think that after death they will be given a good afterlife for not rebelling and killing the tyrant.
Meanwhile, the tyrant will burn for eternity for living a life of sin.
Except nowhere in the bible is hell described as a place of eternal torture, or even a prison, (The bible very clearly implies that hell is a furnace that instantly destroys all who enter, I am not sure where the retarded bdsm version of hell came from) so the torture thing is just faggot revenge fantasy made up by people who want to believe in some all-powerful judge that will save them so they do not have to do anything at all.
The same can be said for the rapture belief.
“Just sit around, let the tyrants who control the world and hate Christ to just keep on getting away with it. Sit on your fat arse and wait to be raptured.”
I am honestly surprised that adults can fall for such fairy tale nonsense.
To be fair: there are Christians who recognize that the idea of Rapture is bullshit fanfiction.
To those who believe in rapture: Might as well think that saint nick is gonna give you a free bridge in new jersey for Christmas this year.
Emperor Napolean pointed out this fact, that the idea of karma was invented by those who rule society in order to keep the peasants from going werewolf mode and killing them.
My final point: This does not only apply to religion. It arguably applies to politics as well.
Time and time again I see centrists falling for the belief that there is an invisible judge who will swoop down one day, reward the calm people for not reducing themselves to the same level as the bad, loud, retarded people, and then punish the bad people for being annoying bad actors.
That is the reason why centrists are addicted to the idea of being seen as “calm”, “rational” and “neutral”. they think they have an all-powerful, invisible audience that will eventually declare the centrist “correct”.
When in reality the centrist will probably be sacrificed on an alter after he becomes too old to pay tribute to the government.
