Hi. I know that none of you consume my content for my actual views on the real world, as I am an (e)celeb, but this is just sooo serious that its seriousness transcends the need for actual propriety as to where it’s discussed. With a serious thing as serious as this, everyone who has an audience has their possession of an audience rebranded as a ‘platform’, and the only responsible way to use that platform is to regurgitate the common midwitted retard propaganda regarding [current thing]. Now, normally I don’t feel inclined to give my opinion on these things–and I’m not! I am going, as I said, to repeated common, midwitted retard propaganda. But, I’m going to present it as my opinion, and any similarity between ‘my opinion’ and said propaganda is simply because said propaganda is the right thing to think, because, to me and all others who lay their brains completely bare to the progressive hivemind, it and morality are one and the same, and in fact are the only human principles to work by! Yes, we, the half-strung puppets of the ideological equivalent of AIDS, have a monopoly on what principles, values and behaviors are truly and quintessentially characteristic to the human race, hence why our propaganda is the sole responsible use of one’s platform. Now, I know the seemingly infinite, category-breaching importance that I’m ascribing to this has been ascribed to many other things which, in retrospect, were quite clearly just political matters whose significance was dramatized by people who had an agenda, but I’m talking about it very slowly and seriously so if you even show the slightest skepticism or make the suggestion that this is a repeat of just that, you are apathetic, selfish and/or unwilling to face to your own conscience (by which I mean the vicarious guilt you’re probably supposed to feel about all this, especially if you’re not immediately inclined to care). If I’m convinced that this clearly political matter is somehow so important that it’s not a political matter and so important that it needs to be talked about in the place that’s not for important stuff at all, then you can be convinced to get gaslit into giving a shit, you filthy pig. Nevermind that my input, being clearly copied and pasted from every other talking head online, has achieved nothing but the absolute loss of any respect anyone with the slightest ability to think for themselves has for me, I have a platform, and it is my job to use it responsibly.
The problem with non-conformity is that it entails its own kind of conformity.
Just as with people who look upon human history and Tribalism as somehow antiquated or unnecessarily barbaric invariably develop their own internal Tribe of people who share the same thoughts as them, resulting in a cluster fuck of each individual, in the pursuit of their own psychotic hyper-individuation essentially jerking each other off or constantly trying to prove how superior and “New” their thoughts are over other people.
Of course the problem with this mentality is that it halts the development of Wisdom, which only arises through experience, and even more through shared experience, especially through the acknowledgement that you are fundamentally no different from any other human who has ever walked the face of this earth before you, and you will likely be no different from any human being that shall follow you.
That kind of continuity we could call a Shared Reality, or quite simply Reality, which is transcendental, and reigns supreme over any individuals acknowledgment of the truth, because it is accessible to all men and not malleable insofar as a single mans refusal to acknowledge it might do anything to change what IT essentially is.
At the very least this mentality might do well to acknowledge that what is in vogue these days is in fact the very notion that everything is morally relative, and that the desires of the individual in this new contradictory collective are held higher then any notion of community that might contradict said framework of moral relativism. Therefor, it is in the very interest of the non conformist to accept conformity to some standard beyond his mere self interest, or remain as the snake that eats his own tail.
Sure, of course, but that standard shouldn’t be derived from a bunch of mental kindergarteners from Twitter having hushed huddle talks about whether Jessica who makes covers of Undertale songs should be forgiven for mistakenly saying ‘jigaboo’ instead of ‘juggalo’ six years ago on her ‘ask femboy Yog Sothoth anything’ Tumblr alt
Exactly. And that is precisely where conversation is needed to elucidate exactly what that sort of higher standard is that we ought to be adhering to, especially mindful and consistent so as to maintain our awareness and adherence to it it even once it is defined.
The reason people end up obsessing over and pursuing these endlessly compartmentalized cultural niches, or sub cultures, is to try and fill in that void of community that they are lacking. And for whatever reason, even things as immature as Homestuck and Doctor Who offer that same sort of shared cultural experience that these individuals are otherwise deprived of.
Obviously none of us have the power to step into and act as role models or parental figures where society has otherwise failed these underdeveloped individuals, but we can attempt to define those higher standards for ourselves, and by doing so create a sort of Lighthouse that strong minds and able bodies might gravitate towards. This must take place not only in the expressions of our Art, but in our physical labor as well, to set a strong example to be followed.
