Please let me know what you all think of my attempt at originality, with the help of A.I. Editing and Image making of course. Please refer this piece to easily triggered Leftists who are not used to anything above vulgar net politics, and tell them that I am sincere about trying to keep the discussion on a higher level … even if I know how it will just de-evolve into them calling me “evil.” I get it. And me retorting the same etc etc etc.
Elite theory is interesting. I’ve read The Power Elite by Mills. It’s interesting how the new rich are slowly accepted into the rich, or how the old rich lose their place at the top and fade out of eminence.
I don’t know much about the Marxist stuff but I think there are some near universal trends in civilizations. Entitlements and the entitled inevitably amass during prosperity, and prosperity doesn’t keep up because resources are finite and the value we can add to resources does not grow exponentially forever.
The most unprecedented part of our civilization is how technology could prop up a proportion of the social burden if it had to. Our civilization is actively suppressing widespread use of technology like lie detectors for decency sake. When our civilization can’t pay out the accursed share, they’ll deregulate a bunch of stuff like this without a second thought. I use the lie detector example because it reduces the complex social problems in a way that scales up and even compounds with other behavioral controls. Even if you never take a neo-polygraph test, you’re suddenly living among people who have to entertain the possibility. It makes society more mechanistic, more predictable.
Recently I’ve come to really dislike AI images. They don’t quite make me nauseous but it’s something on that vector.
well, back in the day revolutionary intellectuals entrenched in all their polemics discussed just this, bc they noticed how it was getting to be only so much mental masturbation. so to rectify themselves from this unfortunate state of affairs they coined the word ‘praxis’. so to try and sort of.. ground things.. and rather unsuccessfully. but, for better or worse, the language lives on today
